One of the big moments in life is a wedding. Whether you’re getting married or someone you know is getting married, there’s something grand about moving forward with the amazing elements of nuptials. If you’re not married, talk about how the bride has shown you that love exists out there, and that it’s ok to love yourself, but that there is someone out there that will one day marry you as well.
Get To the Point
No one wants to speak too long. With that in mind, you should talk about a few things and then drop out. Once you feel that you’ve said a few things, or enough, go into a closing statement. Close with special notes on how to remain in love, or how amazing it is to prolong love and marriage. Wish the bride and groom well, and then even offer a toast if you’re doing this during the reception. There’s something wonderful about a wedding, so make sure that you remain jovial throughout. Go through a few drafts of the speech, say it out loud in a mirror, and you’ll be ready.
